Differences between Click through rate (CTR) and Click through probabilities (CTP)
Given case that there is a new green button placed on the EXAMPLE.com — this button is aims to bring the user to the other page for more information about the website.
CTR — A ratio that shows how often users SEE it and end up CLICKING it, tells how well that button/keyword/ads are performing
CTP — A probability between how well users interact with the that button/keyword/ads
To extend the earlier example case:
EXAMPLE.com clause 1.1
- There are 2 users who visit the page(user A and user B)
- User A clicks NONE
- User B clicks 5 Times
- Then,
- CTR = 2.5, CTP =0.5
